Del Mar Dos

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful villa! The home was absolutely spotless, and every room and space was sparkling clean. What stood out the most was the breathtaking view. St. Thomas is beautiful, and being able to wake up to that scenery made our stay even more special. The pool was amazing and the perfect place to relax and enjoy the view. The home was also well stocked with dishes, toiletries, and other amenities that made our stay very comfortable. The host was extremely helpful, responsive, and made everything easy for us. All of the instructions were clear, and we had everything we needed. We also found a wonderful driver who drove us around the island throughout our stay, which made exploring St. Thomas so convenient. We truly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely stay again. Villa Del Mar was incredibly special. The view is honestly hard to put into words. It is absolutely unreal and somehow even better in person. Sitting out there looking over the water never got old, and some of our favorite moments of the trip were just being at the house and taking it all in. The outdoor shower was another favorite. It felt completely dreamy, and the privacy of the property made the whole experience feel even more peaceful. The villa sits up on a cliff, so there is no beach access from the house and you only faintly hear the ocean, but we loved how private and tucked away it felt. The location was perfect for us. You are very close to Magens Bay and it is easy to drive to restaurants and other things to do, although once you are at the villa, you really do not want to leave. We also used the grocery delivery service and were so glad we did. Everything was there when we arrived, and the kitchen is incredibly well stocked. If you plan to cook, you really do not need to bring much of anything, including seasonings. Tressa was wonderful. She was responsive, flexible, and made us feel completely supported without ever being intrusive. We loved our stay and would absolutely come back. We will definitely be looking at other Bliss properties for future trips.

This is our second stay at Villa Del Mar in as many years. It was perfect the first time around, we rebooked, and it was perfect again the second time around. We had some travel issues on our way to St Thomas and Tressa went out of her way to accommodate us. I can't thank her enough for that. The villa itself is immaculate, and gives off vibes of an exclusive home that is well loved by the owners rather than a high turnover rental. It has practically everything you need and is outfitted like someone would set it up who lives there full time. I highly recommend only purchasing perishables on your way to the villa, as you may find that you do not need to buy anything else. We've found the liquor cabinet always stocked with a wonderful selection left by previous guests and the refrigerator has most of the condiments you will likely need. Anything you use up please replace and leave for the next guests. It's just such a nice little take something/leave something touch that we've come to love about Villa Del Mar and it makes it feel like home. The outdoor living space is amazing, I can't say enough about the view. In fact, the pool and that view are so great, you'll find yourself not wanting to leave to do other activities. A good problem to have. There are other houses around the villa but you'd never know it due to the excellent landscaping, everything feels extremely private and Mahogany Run is a nice quiet community, gated, with security guard. I really don't need to get into St Thomas, if you're coming here you likely already know how wonderful it is and all the islands have to offer. But you can travel confidently knowing where you will be staying. We are already planning our trip back next year.
